Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ropapoker ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What ropapoker is

ropapoker is a tournament poker training tool: quizzes, drills, a real-time practice room against bots, hand-history import and analysis, and related educational content. No real-money wagering, gambling, or payouts of any kind occur on the Service — subscriptions purchase access to training features only.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for safeguarding your account credentials. Authentication is provided by our identity provider (Clerk); we never see or store your password.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid tiers (Pro, Pro+) are billed by Stripe on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal, linked from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

We reserve the right to change prices going forward; existing subscribers are notified before a price change takes effect on their next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or scrape the Service beyond what a normal browser does; automate account creation to bypass usage caps; upload hand histories you do not have the right to use; or use the Service to harass other users (e.g. via the friends/social or leaderboard features).

6. Your content

Hand histories and scenarios you upload or build remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the Service to you (compute stats, generate quiz spots, run the playstyle classifier). Scenarios you explicitly publish to the public gallery are visible to other users under the visibility setting you choose.

7. Intellectual property

The Service's software, design, curriculum content, and range/solver data are owned by ropapoker or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. See the repository license for the open-source components.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Training feedback (GTO ranges, EV estimates, ICM/bounty equity, leak detection) is a training aid derived from solvers and heuristics — it is not guaranteed to be optimal or error-free, and should not be treated as financial or gambling advice. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ropapoker is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any losses you incur at the tables from applying training feedback.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings — this is irreversible and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
